Life is what you dare

Isn't that beautiful? Maybe not as perfect as on the records, but a perfomance so true and so sincere. You can see the sparkle in her eyes... Or is it a tear of joy? I love how she makes this her own! Who cares if she doesn't sing the usual way, the audience knows the lyrics anyways. Instead the band creates an atmosphere that can never be reproduced but is still inspiring to those who listen.
That's how it should be! Dare to let go, embrace the moment, reinvent yourself whenever possible. I know it's frightning and I tend to hesitate, too. Still I can hardly remember a moment that wasn't worth getting carried away...
In those times where one bad news follows the next and we aren't sure what to be afraid of, I'd like to celebrate the achievements. I know that we have many reasons to be sad and worried, not only thinking about Norway, Somalia or Japan, but also the tragedy happening in front of our door. After the grief there should always be a celebration, and may the music and masses move our hearts, like a pendulum from sorrow to joy, and back again. And may you never be afraid of being moved!
